Yoga Class Descriptions


TRX Yoga Flow 
TRX Yoga Flow is a style of Power Yoga that leverages the TRX Suspension Trainer to enhance & assist your practice. You will coordinate movements with your breath while challenging your strength, mobility, and balance.

TRX Chair Yoga
This fusion of TRX (suspension straps) and
Chair Yoga was created for everyBODY. If you are new to yoga, getting back into yoga, scared of yoga, or curious about yoga this is the class for you. TRX straps promote mobility, stability, and balance. As you hold onto the straps your spine is aligned and the body is assisted into perfect alignment, and while sitting in the chair performing asanas (yoga poses) you are fully supported and safe.


Gentle Yoga
Gentle yoga is essentially what it sounds like—a gentler style of hatha yoga practice. It is performed at a slower pace, with less intense positions, and usually includes extended time for meditation, yogic breathwork, and relaxation.

Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a restful practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. With the assistance of bolsters and blankets, you may hardly move at all, doing just a few postures over the course of an hour.

Yoga Basics
This is a great class for those new to yoga. We will introduce the fundamentals of yoga practice, including breath, proper alignment, and mindfulness practices. Many long-time students take Yoga Basics classes regularly because the pace of the class offers time for students to develop self-awareness and refine their practice.

Beginner Yoga
The beginner class series introduces the fundamental principles of alignment and breathwork. Students will be introduced to yoga postures through step-by-step verbal description and demonstration. Emphasis is placed on student understanding, safety, and stability within each pose.

Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is the practice and art of Yogic Sleep. In this class, you will be guided through a detailed sleep meditation that will allow your mind and body to slip into a deep state of relaxation. The brain will switch from beta to alpha waves, signaling the transition from activity to meditation.

Mid Day Balance for Beginners Yoga
Midday yoga is a great way to refresh, reset, and rejuvenate the mind and body. Enjoy this energizing, balancing, full-body midday yoga flow. Beginners Welcome! We will be integrating props such as chairs, TRX straps, bolsters, and blocks to aid your body into perfect alignment!

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a gentle and relaxing all-level VinYasa Flow class that works deeply into the connective tissues and joints of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine and is suitable to all levels of students through extended holds of postures.

Chakra Yoga
Focusing each week on a different Chakra this Gentle class is performed at a slower pace, with less intense positions, and usually includes extended time for meditation, yogic breathwork, and relaxation.
