Shobana Francis
Yoga Instructor

Yoga has been a part of my life for more than 15 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible, mindful and fearless, both on and off the mat.

I completed my 200-hour RYT program with Solfull Yoga Studio in Monroe, and will always be a student of the practice, deepening my learning, and incorporating that into the classes I teach.

In my classes, I love to combine creative sequences, playful and therapeutic music, essential oils, meditation prompts and encouraging words. I want to help my students to learn to lean into their own strengths, become aware of their own beauty and power, and nourish themselves with the practice of yoga. Upon leaving the mat, they will take the newly learned strength, awareness and balance into the world, all while having a fun and lighthearted experience. Come join me!

Margaret Stanton
Yoga Instructor

Margaret believes that we are all on this journey together. She thrives on opportunities to create space where people of any age can connect and support one another. Through your yoga practice,  she believes that not only will you have more flexibility and better health but you will also discover more compassion, courage, awareness and gratitude in your life.

Margaret found that connection through her practice and instantly fell in love with everything Yoga. Trained and mentored by Arlene Kobylinski in Vinyasa flow, she completed her 200RYT at Sol full Yoga in Monroe, NY.

The Mother of two wonderful boys, lover of the outdoors and new adventures, joy seeker and student for life.

Margaret can show you " if you can breathe, you can practice yoga"

Susan Price
Yoga Instructor

While in her twenties, Susan first found the connection to yoga instantaneous!    Along the way she explored meditation, Reiki, performance nutrition, personal training, and worked as a life and career coach.

After moving to Orange County, Susan established a regular yoga practice and set an intention to teach yoga once she retired from her corporate career.  Susan retired in early 2018 and in July completed her RYT-200 hour certification with Uplifted.

With a focus on the Yoga Wellness Rx approach, Susan promotes a gentle, vinyasa flow yoga and the use of props for support to enable everyone to do yoga.  "I want to share my love of yoga with others, encouraging anyone, regardless of physical condition, to give it a try.  Yoga is so diverse there is something here to benefit everyone."

Dr. Maria Perri
Meditation Instructor, Chiropractor, Owner

Dr. Maria Perri, a chiropractor since 1984, is a lifelong student of Yoga and  mind/body medicine. She was first exposed to Yoga at age 19 and is still inspired by her first teacher "Lovey" who at 69 and 50 years her senior was stronger, more balanced, and deeply joyful.  Yoga and a connection to Kripalu has influenced her life and patient care ever since. Meditation is so misunderstood - it is not about "stopping your thoughts" - that is just not possible! It is simply a way to become more fully present - to come home to your breath, your senses and this present moment.  It is a way to work through chronic limiting patterns and to free your capacity to create real happiness and compassion.

My goal is to create a community of people that realize they can move beyond “survival” into consciously creating a better life for themselves and a healthier more positive world community.

Beth Stewart
Feldenkrais Instructor

Beth Stewart is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and has been conducting classes, workshops and private sessions in the Hudson Valley since 1999.  She has a bachelor’s degree in physical education and worked for many years in the field of human services before training in the Feldenkrais Method®.  She now enjoys sharing this unique method and its principles of using gentle movements to discover self-limiting habits and make powerful changes in how one moves and feels.

Beth has studied Aikido for 30 years, currently holding the rank of 3rd degree black belt and teaches at the Aikido School of Self Defense in Middletown, NY.  She enjoys traveling and sailing and is a member of the Beacon Sloop Club.

Donna Lorence
MELT Method Instructor

Donna was introduced to the Melt Method by a massage therapist after enduring years of extreme pain, debilitating fatigue, stress, fitness injuries, and tired from chasing after two young children. She enrolled in a class and immediately felt its profound effect on my body. She quickly realized that she had not only found the perfect self-care practice, but had also found a method that could help many other people get out of pain, decrease the negative effects of stress, and become more active.

Donna is passionate about bringing this unique and simple self-care treatment to others and was trained by the creator of the Melt Method, Sue Hitzmann, in NYC. She likes how empowering the Melt Method is as people literally take their healing into their own hands.
