A 1999 graduate of the Healing Hands Institute for Massage Therapy in Westwood, NJ. Karen received training in Swedish Massage, Pre & Post Natal Massage, Shiatsu and Sports Massage.
She is licensed in the state of New York and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. After spending 20 years in the corporate arena, as a Sports Marketing and Event Planning Coordinator, Karen decided on a career in massage therapy after experiencing the benefits of therapeutic massage as a stress relief tool in her personally hectic life.

Laura graduated as a licensed massage therapist from The Swedish Institute in 2014. She practices the following techniques: Swedish, Pregnancy, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Shiatsu and Reflexology.
As a therapist, Laura works to provide a soothing and therapeutic experience for every client. She is passionate about her work and believes that massage therapy is a powerful way to connect the mind body and spirit and contribute to a person's overall well-being.
Laura enjoys working slowly in order to assess a client's needs,
engage with their body and alleviate tension and/ or pain. Her flow and healing intention provide a relaxing, yet effective massage experience.
Her goal is to nurture every client and have them leave a session feeling renewed with a smile on their face!
April Schoenherr is a licensed massage therapist in both New York and New Jersey. She graduated from the Swedish Institute and the Laura Norman Reflexology School in 1987 and 1988, respectively. She has earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology in 1981 from Guilford College in North Carolina.
April specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, and reflexology. Myofacial release will soon be added to her repertoire. She strives to create a relaxed, quiet and stress-free environment for her clients.
In addition to massage, April has studied and practised holistic approaches to health for many years. Some of these include aromatherapy, nutrition, herbs, dance, long walks, yoga and violin. She truly believes that massage therapy is a necessity and enjoys being able to help heal the body through massage.
Krysten has been a LMT since 2011. She believes Massage Therapy provides such a positive way to stay connected, not only to maintain good health but also for the spiritual well being of each individual.
She hopes to leave each client feeling relaxed and more centered then when they arrived. Her work flows directly from her heart and is received through her touch.
Cheryl Harewood-Kiai’s professional background in the field of health care and holistic wellness has spanned over 30 plus years. She became a licensed practical nurse for Health & Hospitals Corporation in 1988 , joined the Department of Veterans Affairs (Manhattan VA) in 1990 and graduated from The Swedish Institute College in 2000. In 2007 Cheryl graduated from the Excelsior College School of Nursing with a degree in registered nursing. At the culmination of her VA nursing career Cheryl earned a Bachelor’s of science degree in holistic nursing from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2016.
Although Cheryl is now retired from the department of veterans affairs, she is currently a member in good standing of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and of the Association of Bodywork & Massage professionals.
Her vast massage career has included over 20 years of combined experience working primarily at Equinox Fitness Clubs and in New York Sports Clubs chains within New York City.
Cheryl has developed a highly effective synthesis of style and approach to her massage offerings. She’s quite gifted in combining her in-depth knowledge of healthcare and Western/Asian massage modalities to consistently deliver a uniquely therapeutic massage session to clients.
Shirley has been in the beauty and skincare industry for over 30 years.She graduated from Rockland School of Beauty Culture and worked as a cosmetologist.Her passions didn’t stop there.She furthered her education becoming a Asethetician and Make Up Artist graduating from Capri Learning Center. Through the years Shirley taught Cosmetology at Head People School of Hair Design and Middletown Beauty School.
