Create your own home Yoga practice
The best way to optimize your health, combat the effects of stress and slow the aging process is to have a regular home practice of Yoga and meditation. So many of us are well intentioned, but lack either the motivation or the knowledge to do it consistently. This class will explore "how to" organize a well balanced Yoga class and most importantly how to commit to doing it regularly on your own.

Evolve Into Fitness: CrossFit Group Class
Anthony Figueroa of Evolve Into Fitness will teach, coach, and challenge you through functional movements and skills that will increase your strength, flexibility, and metabolism. These fun, one hour group classes, are never the same! Healthy eating strategies will be discussed!

Evolve Into Fitness: OsteoFit Group Class
OsteoFit is a one hour group fitness class that will include the appropriate movements and challenges to improve bone density. This class is perfect for anyone with Osteopenia or Osteoperosis. This resistance training class will be coached by Anthony Figueroa of Evolve Into Fitness CrossFit GPS. Anthony will teach you how to move properly to reduce the risk of injury. He will then challenge those movements to strengthen your bones and increase overall strength, flexibility and metabolism!

Family Yoga (children of all ages welcome)
It's time to connect with your children in Yoga! Share your practice with your family and learn partnering postures, focusing techniques and engage in relaxation together. Together we will use instruments, songs and games to share the many benefits of Yoga and strengthen your bodies while bonding.

Gentle Yoga
If you have special challenges and needs such as chronic pain that have stopped you from taking even a beginner's yoga class - this class is for YOU! Our focus is still on fundamental hatha yoga postures (asanas) but with special modifications. Variations may be done in a chair instead of seated on the floor. Emphasis on breathing techniques (pranayama), balance and core strength will help you feel younger and more vital.

Intro to Mindfulness and Meditation
There is a way of being - more present, more centered, more fully alive. It is not about stopping the endless chatter of our minds; that is not really possible anyway. It is about stepping more fully into this moment, this breathe, this experience - whatever it is. Learning to do so gives you peace and freedom that goes beyond simple stress management. In this class we will explore different meditation techniques and discuss how to stay committed to regular practice. No prior mediation experience required.

Kids Yoga (ages 4 and up)
Your child will engage in yoga postures that allow them to strengthen and balance their body, mind and spirit by exploring laughter, focus and relaxation. Together we will use instruments, songs and games to share the many benefits of Yoga and embrace the natural silliness in children while evoking the calming spirit as well.

Mindfulness Practices with Sandy Wells
Imagine pausing for an hour at noon each Friday to explore meditative practices that nourish your body-mind-spirit. Mindfulness is a way to develop sensitivity to all aspects of self: body and mind, heart and soul. It is a way to alleviate stress, chronic pain and illness, and to restore within yourself a balanced sense of health and well-being. Mindful practices include:
  • Sitting meditation
  • Walking meditation
  • Gentle mindful movements
  • Mindful eating meditation

Mindful practices provide a powerful lens to see what needs tending in your life and engage the inner callings of your heart to enrich your connection with yourself.

Mommy & Baby
Nurture yourself and your baby by sharing your yoga practice. Ages 6 weeks to crawling. Mommy and baby classes are designed to give you a fun and slightly rigorous class, by strengthening your body and calming your mind while helping your baby feel comfortable in their body. Learn techniques that will improve baby's digestion and calm fussiness. Please bring a blanket for your baby. Babies should be dressed comfortably without movement restriction. Also, make sure you have doctor's approval to begin exercising prior to starting class. Pre Registration required.

Pilates Fitness
Pilates is a body conditioning program focusing on body and mind connection; a perfect workout based on quality of movement instead of quantity and suitable for any level of fitness. The Pilates Body Secrets targets stubborn spots like your saddlebags, hips and thighs and defines the female physique in ways that you cannot get in a typical gym workout. Your body will be better aligned, your mind will be more capable of dealing with daily stress, and, believe it or not, you will actually feel taller - not just in height but in spirit! Pilates is all about natural flowing movement. Practiced regularly and correctly, it will literally change the way you move, the way you look, and the way you feel.

Pre-Natal Yoga
Mom's learn yoga and other techniques that will enhance the experience of giving birth in a calm and gentle way. This is a 5 week series and . Pre Registration is required. Not recommended for Yoga Beginners during first trimester. Be sure you have your doctor's approval before starting classes.

Stretch and Relax Class
Learn a variety of current stretching techniques to lengthen and relax tense, achy muscles. Cultivate the mind-body awareness to recognize and re-learn habit patterns that perpetuate chronic muscle tension. Access your most powerful tool for stress management - your breath! Perfect for men or women! This class is targeted to those who believe they are "not flexible" as well as the athlete who wants to improve performance and prevent injury.

Tai Chi
Gentle moves that will relax and revitalize your entire body, mind and spirit. This is a gentle but powerful class of slow moving qi gong and tai chi exercises. In this class, you will begin to feel your life force energy called "chi" moving within your body and practice how to connect to that chi with your mind/concentration. Ability to fill the body with chi results in vibrant health.

Yoga Challenge
A fun and challenging flow class for INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED level students working to deepen their practice. Pranayama (breathing exercises), as well as Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutation) variations, challenging core strengthening, balance, inversions and a wide range of standing and seated postures will be included. Classes are infused with Yoga Philosophy and end with a deep relaxation and seated meditation. Prior Yoga experience is required.

Yoga for Fitness
ALL LEVELS of students (beginners and up) are guided through a well-rounded and more challenging practice including pranayama (breathing exercises), a flowing asana practice exploring variations of Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutations), a wide range of standing and seated poses, and beginning arm balances and inversions. Light weights may be added to improve muscle tone and strength. With more challenging postures and longer hold times, you will leave this class feeling like you have had a good workout. Prior Yoga experience is recommended.

Yoga for Well Beiing
Perfect for the new student just beginning the study of yoga or for any student who would like to feel more relaxed and centered and delve deeper into developing Inner-Awareness. Each class will concentrate on fundamental hatha yoga postures (asanas), breathing techniques and proper alignment. Proper form will be supported and appropriate modifications given as needed. Class ends with "active relaxation" allowing you entire mind, body and spirit to calm down and move towards balance. Reduce the effects of stress and leave feeling nourished and relaxed. No prior Yoga experience needed, welcome to ALL levels.

Zumba Fitness!
Zumba is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music and movements, creating a dynamic, exciting, exhilarating, and effective fitness System. A Zumba class â€" known as a Zumba Fitness-party â€" combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using an aerobic/fitness approach to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits. The cardio-based dance movements are easy to follow steps that include body sculpting, which targets areas such as gluteus, legs, arms, core, abs and most important muscle in the body the heart. Join the party! Previous dance experience is not necessary.
